Are You Owed a Service Pension? Every year, roughly 2,000 deferred Armed Forces pensions go unclaimed, leaving more than 15,000 pension benefits currently waiting for their rightful owners. To bridge this gap, the Forces Pension Society Charitable Fund is supporting the Unclaimed Pensions campaign, dedicated to raising awareness and helping veterans claim the significant sums they have earned.

Women and girls across Derby and Derbyshire are being invited to take part in an anonymous survey launched by Derbyshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner to help shape future support and safety initiatives relating to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Residents are encouraged to share their experiences and perceptions to help create safer communities across the county.

Hatton Parish Council has received an increasing number of complaints regarding inconsiderate parking across the village. Vehicles parked on pavements, close to junctions, across driveways and near schools are creating safety concerns for pedestrians, motorists and emergency services. The Parish Council is asking all residents and visitors to park responsibly, keep pavements clear, and consider the safety of children and vulnerable road users at all times.
