Free Holiday Clubs for Eligible Children

Hatton Parish Council is pleased to share details of Derbyshire’s It’s About Me Holiday Activity and Food Programme. The programme offers Department for Education-funded holiday club places for eligible children aged 4 to 16 across Derbyshire. Clubs include a wide range of activities such as sports, arts and crafts, cooking, dance, music and more. Each session also includes a healthy meal. Children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals can access funded places at participating holiday clubs.

Summer 2026 Dates

Bookings open: 29 June 2026Holiday clubs run: 23 July 2026 to 4 September 2026

Please note that dates exclude weekends and bank holidays.

How to Book

Families should:

  1. Get their unique IAM/HAF code from their child’s school

  2. Visit itsaboutmederbyshire.co.uk

  3. Click “Book Now”

  4. Search for suitable clubs by location, age and date

  5. Choose sessions and complete the booking online

If you believe your child is eligible but have not received a code, please contact your child’s school.

Families who are not eligible for funded places may still be able to access paid places at some clubs.
