Have your say on South Derbyshire’s Draft Housing Allocation Scheme
South Derbyshire District Council is inviting residents, housing tenants, housing professionals and those who support local tenants to comment on its Draft Housing Allocation Scheme.
The council has reviewed its existing Housing Allocations Policy, which it considers outdated and no longer reflective of current local need. The proposed new scheme is now open for public consultation.
If the way homes are allocated in South Derbyshire matters to you, please take time to read the proposals and share your views. Your feedback will help inform the final scheme.
The consultation closes at 5pm on Sunday 6 December 2026.
