Derbyshire County Council has issued notice of a temporary road closure affecting Marston Lane, Marston on Dove.

When:6 October 2026 at 10:00pm until 7 October 2026 at 7:00am
Where:Marston Lane, Marston on Dove, at Marston Crossing.
Reason:To facilitate rail inspection works.
Alternative route
The signed alternative route will be via:
Marston Lane – Derby Road – Windsor Avenue – Station Road – Bridge Street – Tutbury Bypass – Rolleston Lane – Church Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained whenever reasonably possible along the affected section of road. The road may reopen earlier than advertised if the works are completed ahead of schedule.
