Temporary Road Closure – Thursday October 1st - Scropton Road, Hatton
Residents are advised that Scropton Road, Hatton will be temporarily closed on Thursday 1 October 2026 between 00:00 and 01:00.
The closure will affect Scropton Road between Castle View and Clayton Gardens and is required to allow pole replacement works to take place.
During the closure, the signed alternative route will be via Scropton Road, Main Street, Watery Lane, the unnamed section of the A511 from the A50 to Uttoxeter Road, Uttoxeter Road and Station Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained wherever reasonably possible, and the road will reopen as soon as the work is completed, which may be earlier than advertised.
