Held between March and June, registered electors have the legal right to speak, ask questions, and vote on village matters. The Annual Parish Council Meeting: This is internal council business held in May to elect the Chairman and review policies. The public can observe but cannot speak.

A new free wellbeing and activity programme is coming to Hatton this June. Five Week Shift, delivered through Active Futures, is designed to support South Derbyshire residents who may be unemployed, in insecure employment, or looking to boost their confidence, wellbeing and physical activity levels.
